How to choose the pixel pitch of LED display?

The pixel pitch is the distance between two pixels to reflect the pixel density, Pixel pitch and pixel density is the physical properties of the LED display; information capacity is the unit area pixel density of the one-time display of the information carrying capacity of the number of units.
First, LED display view distance:
What position the display is placed, the general time people stand in how far the distance to see, just choose the LED display to determine the pitch of an important factor.
Generally there is a formula for the best visual distance = point spacing / (0.3 ~ 0.8), which is an approximate range. For example, point spacing 16mm display, the best visual distance is 20 ~ 54 meters, stand closer than the minimum distance, you can distinguish the display of a pixel, a strong sense of grain, stand far it, the human eye can not distinguish the fine features. (We for normal vision, excluding myopia and hyperopia). In fact, this is also a rough figure.
For outdoor LED display, close to the general use of P10 or P12, a little farther with P16 or P20, and for indoor display, general P4 ~ P6 can be, a little farther to P7.62 or P10.
Second, the total number of pixels in the LED display.
For video, the basic VCD format, resolution 352 * 288, DVD format 768 * 576. So for the video screen, we recommend that the minimum resolution is not less than 352 * 288, so that the display is good enough. If it is lower, it can be displayed, but not to achieve better results.
And for the display of text and pictures mainly single and double base color LED display, the resolution requirements are not high, according to the actual size, the minimum display of 9 fonts can be based on the amount of your text.
So, in the choice of LED display, if it is installed in the indoor LED display, the smaller the point spacing, the better, the higher the resolution will be the higher high, the display is clear; if it is an outdoor LED display, we have to consider the viewing distance, the spacing is too small, the people in the distance can not see it, the spacing is too large, the people in the vicinity of the people can not see it, so it is necessary to consider comprehensively. But also consider the cost, application range and other factors.
